What are Widgets?

Widgets are single-layer overlay elements available to all Vision users, including free accounts. They’re simpler than full overlays but still powerful - add a chat display, counter, timer, or other element to your stream without needing a paid subscription.

Tips

Start with widgets if you’re new to Vision. They’re simpler to set up and help you learn the editor.
Combine multiple widgets in OBS if you need more than one element - add each as a separate browser source.
Upgrade when ready - Once you want to combine layers into complex layouts, upgrade to use full overlays.
