Stream Deck Integration

Vision integrates with Elgato Stream Deck, letting you control your overlays with physical buttons. Adjust scores, toggle layers, control timers, and more - all without touching your keyboard.

Getting Started

Download the plugin

Go to Settings in Vision and download the Stream Deck plugin, or get it from the Elgato Marketplace

Install the plugin

Double-click the downloaded file to install it in Stream Deck

Open Stream Deck software

Launch the Stream Deck application on your computer

Find Vision actions

In the actions panel, find the Vision category

Drag actions to buttons

Drag Vision actions onto your Stream Deck buttons

Configure each action

Select the overlay and layer you want to control

Available Actions

Score/Counter Controls

ActionDescription
AddIncrease a counter by a set amount
SubtractDecrease a counter by a set amount
SetSet a counter to a specific value
ToggleSwitch between two values

Timer Controls

ActionDescription
Start/ResumeBegin or continue a timer
PausePause a running timer
ResetReset timer to its starting value

Setting Up an Action

Drag action to button

Drag a Vision action from the actions panel to a Stream Deck button

Select your overlay

In the action settings, choose which overlay to control

Select the layer

Choose which layer within that overlay to control

Configure the action

Set the value (for add/subtract/set actions)

Test it

Press the button to verify it works

Tips

Group related actions together on your Stream Deck. Put all score controls in one area, timer controls in another.
Use folders in Stream Deck to organize actions for different games or stream types.
Label your buttons clearly - Stream Deck supports custom icons and text for each button.

Troubleshooting

Actions not working?

  1. Check your connection - Make sure you’re logged into Vision
  2. Verify the overlay - Ensure the selected overlay exists
  3. Check the layer - Confirm the layer hasn’t been deleted or renamed
  4. Refresh the plugin - Try removing and re-adding the action

Plugin not showing?

  1. Restart the Stream Deck software
  2. Reinstall the Vision plugin
  3. Check for Stream Deck software updates
