What are Control Panels?

Control panels are interactive interfaces that appear in the overlay editor, letting you adjust layer properties in real-time. Instead of editing layer settings, you can use buttons, sliders, and controls to modify values during your stream.

Accessing Control Panels

Open your overlay

Go to the overlay editor
2

Select a layer

Click on a layer that supports controls (e.g., Counter, Timer, Challenge)
3

Stream Deck Integration

  • Layer controls can be mapped to Stream Deck buttons
  • Same actions available: add, subtract, set, toggle
  • See Stream Deck documentation for setup

Tips

Use control panels during streams instead of editing layer properties directly - it’s faster and less error-prone.
Let mods help - Grant your moderators permission to use control panels so they can manage counters and timers during your stream.
Combine with Stream Deck for the fastest control - physical buttons are quicker than clicking in the editor.

Letting Your Mods Help

Grant control panel access to your team:
  1. Go to Permissions → Roles
  2. Create or edit a role
  3. Enable overlay editing permissions
  4. Invite your moderators
  5. They can now use control panels to help manage your stream
