Soundboard
The Vision soundboard lets you upload and play sound effects through your overlays. Play alert sounds, reactions, music clips, or any audio file directly to your stream.Getting Started

Open your overlay
Go to the overlay editor

Open the soundboard
Click the Soundboard button in the toolbar

Upload sounds
Click Upload and select audio files from your computer

Play a sound
Click on any sound to play it through connected devices
Uploading Sounds
Supported Formats
- MP3
- WAV
- OGG
- M4A
Upload Process
- Click Upload in the soundboard panel
- Select one or more audio files
- Wait for upload to complete
- Sounds appear in your soundboard library
Playing Sounds
Basic Playback
- Find the sound you want to play
- Click the Play button
- Sound plays through all connected devices
Playback Controls
Targeting Connections
Choose where sounds play:All Connections
Sound plays on every connected device (default)Specific Connections
- Click the connection selector
- Choose which connections receive the sound
- Only selected devices will play the audio
Managing Sounds
Organizing Your Library
- Search - Find sounds by name
- Preview - Listen before playing on stream
- Delete - Remove sounds you no longer need
Tips
Troubleshooting
Sound not playing?
- Check connections - Ensure devices are connected to the overlay
- Check volume - Make sure volume isn’t set to 0%
- Check browser - Some browsers block autoplay until user interaction
Sound too quiet/loud?
- Adjust the volume slider before playing
- Re-upload with normalized audio levels
- Check your OBS audio mixer settings
