# Overlay Event Tracking

> Track overlay events and interactions. See who played sounds, changed scores, and modified layers during streams.

## Event Tracking

Vision Stats tracks events that happen in your overlays, giving you an audit log of all interactions and changes during your streams.

## What are Events?

Events are actions that occur in your overlays:

| Event Type        | Description                  |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------- |
| **PLAY\_SOUND**   | Sound played from soundboard |
| **SAVE**          | Overlay saved                |
| **MODIFY\_SCORE** | Counter/score changed        |

## Viewing Events

    Select the date range to view

## Event Information

Each event shows:

| Field         | Description                      |
| ------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Timestamp** | When it occurred                 |
| **Action**    | What type of event               |
| **Entity**    | What was affected                |
| **User**      | Who triggered it (if applicable) |
| **Details**   | Additional context               |

## Filtering Events

### By Date Range

Select start and end dates to narrow down events.

### By Action Type

Filter to specific event types:

* Sound plays only
* Score modifications only
* Saves only

### By Entity

Filter events for specific overlays or layers.

## Use Cases

### Reviewing Mods

See what your moderators did during a stream:

* Score changes they made
* Sounds they played
* Layers they modified

### Troubleshooting

Debug issues by checking:

* What changes were made
* When they occurred
* Who made them

### Stream Analysis

Understand overlay usage:

* Most-played sounds
* Frequency of score updates
* Peak activity times
