# Overlay Control Panels

> Manage your Twitch overlay layers during streams. Real-time controls for counters, timers, and more.

## What are Control Panels?

Control panels are interactive interfaces that appear in the overlay editor, letting you adjust layer properties in real-time. Instead of editing layer settings, you can use buttons, sliders, and controls to modify values during your stream.

## Accessing Control Panels

## Common Controls

### Score/Counter Controls

| Control   | Action                    |
| --------- | ------------------------- |
| **+**     | Add to the counter        |
| **-**     | Subtract from the counter |
| **Reset** | Set counter back to zero  |
| **Set**   | Enter a specific value    |

### Timer Controls

| Control    | Action                  |
| ---------- | ----------------------- |
| **Start**  | Begin the timer         |
| **Pause**  | Pause the timer         |
| **Resume** | Continue a paused timer |
| **Reset**  | Reset to starting value |

### Toggle Controls

| Control            | Action                  |
| ------------------ | ----------------------- |
| **Show/Hide**      | Toggle layer visibility |
| **Enable/Disable** | Toggle layer state      |

### Challenge Layers

* Add/remove games
* Update win count
* Start/stop challenge timer
* Select current game

### Bingo Layers

* Mark fields complete
* Reset the board
* Edit field text

### Video Layers

* Play/pause video
* Seek to position
* Adjust volume
* Queue management

### Quiz Layers

* Advance questions
* Reveal answers
* Update scores
* Manage participants

## Stream Deck Integration

Control panels work with Stream Deck:

* Layer controls can be mapped to Stream Deck buttons
* Same actions available: add, subtract, set, toggle

## Letting Your Mods Help

Grant control panel access to your team:

1. Go to **Permissions → Roles**
2. Create or edit a role
3. Enable overlay editing permissions
4. Invite your moderators
5. They can now use control panels to help manage your stream
